Lost in thought

Guess that’s what happens when you

Search for words and not simply speak

Say what comes to mind and not dress it up

Often times playin to a fake crowd fucks us up

We say what we think the crowd wants to hear

Instead of simply speaking through the fear



Say whats on your mind

And dare I say your heart

But hears is the after thought

Do you keep it buried

Because of all things that’s what you were taught

Or buried because you are afraid of your thoughts

Let it out

Trust me that therapy is the best

Keeping it in side only…..



Only tears yourself apart

inside

you battle because

outside

you hard

rock solid

face of stone

burying your emotions

for some fake notion of you too damn grown

or too damned experienced

in what?

life and all it's mess?



or are you too damn scared

to put a rest to your distress

its on the tip of your tongue

just speak what is there

you really are content

to just stop and stare

while opportunity after opportunity

just comes and goes

and the treasure you search your entire life for

now turns away in despair



because what?

you too damn grown

too experienced

or just stubborn to the bone
