Been a minute....
cause a minute to some
is a lifetime too long
for me its been a minute since I thought
been a minute since i saught
been a minute since I faught
been half a minute since I cried
and funny thing is
all of that happened a few short months in my past time
I hadn't thought of the pen and pad
I haven't saught the words to release my pain
I hadn't faught to keep my mind in the right frame
and the tears i shed are for souls finally at rest
