YESSS!!! I'm between 21 (grew up there) and 12, literally. So that should make where I live like number 16.5. SCHWEEE-T!

All jokes aside. I'm throwing in my answer for what all of these cities have in common being... a higher ratio of "minorities"- to -whites per capita? [crossing fingers hoping I'm right]. If that's not it my second guess is the average income of the population in those cities. And my third guess..., they all have vowels somewhere in their names.

lol...... I'm not even going to go there. I don't want to be labeled as a self hating uncle tom, but facts are facts.

what disturbs me the most is the fact that Philadelphia is basically a ZOO/WAR ZONE (literally) and its only 22nd on the list. Which makes me feel sorry for all the cities above it. (Camden comes as no surprise though, my mother works out there..its terrible)

Have you seen Louis Theroux's documentary about crime in Philly? I'm still laughing at the fact that he has a bulletproof vest on.

The thing they all have in common is the import of drugs and therefore criminal activity, and everybody knows these minorities don't have the power to be the one importing said drugs.

Bmore hit the #12 spot...doesn't surprise me. Charm City's always in the news. :(

Wow...los angeles isn't on there? But Oakland is... lol

I expected Oakland, and Richmond CA to be there. they're both bay area towns, and both pretty high on the list, although I must say I thought Oakland would be even higher! I'm surprised san Francisco didn't make the cut considering there's plenty of shootings and crime there... most of which never makes the news. I guess they don't want to mess up the tourist income.

I'm surprised The Town isn't higher on the list as well. Oakland should be within the top 3! I agree. I think the commonality is racial make-up and socioeconomics.
